He Glorifies the Son

“The Holy Spirit does not draw attention to himself. He does not draw attention to us. He does not draw attention, primarily, to particular results. He glorifies the Son. He, as it were, hides himself, even as the Son did when he was here in the world. Our Lord came incognito, in the likeness of a man. And, in a measure, that is true of the Spirit. He seems to hide himself, in order that everybody may look at the Son. Therefore, if you hear people talking perpetually about the Spirit and hardly ever about the Son, you have good reason for believing that they may well be the subjects of a delusion.”
