    That was so good to hear–thank you very much for sharing this. I like the admonition to simply share what our experience is of our encounter with Jesus, and take our hand off the plow–letting God do his work.

    *It’s not the substance of our faith, but the substance of what Jesus did on the cross that saves us. (okay, I know I don’t have it word for word). Wow–I really need to chew on this awhile. I have been known to call myself an unbelieving believer in the last seasons of trials I’ve been going through–often making that scripture (Lord, I believe, help my unbelief) my constant prayer. Have experienced so many breakthroughs, but maybe part of it has been me trusting more on my faith than his finished work.

    I also highly respect and value his position of a genuine faith and trust in God, even sharing about his father passing on an atheist. This shows much humility and submission.

    Yes , it was a good message. The hope he has for his father who passed helped me deal and understand more when my father passed away as a muslim.
